Describe an item you were incredibly attached to as a youth. What became of it?
My Harry Potter books!
Reading JK Rowling’s fantastical modern classics opened wide for me the magical world of reading. They were the first thick books I’ve read.
I still remember lining up at National Book Store to get my copy of the latest installation in the series. The thrill was indescribable.
The books are now at my sister’s classroom. She’s a teacher and has a mini-library that her students could use. It’s amazing to think that the magic of the boy who lived definitely lives on.
